Whether you are ready to recognize it or not, we're already more than halfway through the 2016 NFL season. A full nine weeks have passed, and Week 10 will get underway on Thursday night, when the Baltimore Ravens host the Cleveland Browns.

If you're an active participant in fantasy football, this means you're probably entering the final stretch of your regular season, as most leagues begin their playoffs around Week 13. If so, then every decision you make from here on out is going to be critical.

We're still in bye-week season—the Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts and Oakland Raiders are off this week—which only magnifies the need to make the right roster choices.

We're here to help with our Week 10 rankings. We'll be ranking the 50 best flex options based on how we think they will perform this coming week. We are basing our choices on factors like past performances, projected role, matchup and injuries where applicable.

We will provide separate lists for standard and PPR scoring, and we will examine some of the most enticing options of the week.

Good luck!

NFL Week 10 Fantasy Top 50

Players to Watch

Odell Beckham Jr., WR, New York Giants

We're sure you're already aware that New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is a must-start in all fantasy formats. Through eight weeks, he has already amassed 44 receptions, 676 yards and five touchdowns.

What you might not realize is just how favorable his matchup this week is.

The Giants host the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night. In years past, the Cincinnati defense might have been good enough to make you think twice about starting Beckham, but it is far from that good this season. In fact, Cincinnati is rated just 31st in pass coverage by Pro Football Focus.

The Bengals do have the NFL's fourth-ranked offense in terms of yardage (395.4 per game), so there is some potential for a shootout here. A shootout would easily result in a big day for a downfield threat like Beckham.

Beckham should be one of the top-scoring receivers this week.

Steve Smith, WR, Baltimore Ravens

A guy who isn't such a must-start every week is Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith. In fact, Smith missed two weeks with an ankle injury.

Smith did return last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, though, and he had a solid day, given the lack of overall offense in the game. Smith finished with four receptions for 47 yards.

"It was good to be out there and help contribute towards a win," Smith told reporters after the game, per Kevin Richardson of the Baltimore Sun (h/t Sun reporter Edward Lee). "So it was good"

If Smith thought his performance against Pittsburgh was good, he should be in store for a really good day against the Browns on Thursday. Cleveland is giving up the second-most yardage in the NFL (421.7 yards per game) and is rated just 28th in pass coverage by Pro Football Focus.

Smith appears to be fully recovered from the ankle issue, and while he isn't a must-start every week, he is this week.

Ty Montgomery, RB/WR, Green Bay Packers

With the team thin at running back, the Green Bay Packers have decided to play wideout Ty Montgomery in the backfield in addition to his usual receiver spot. The end results have made Montgomery a fantasy monster when he is healthy.

Montgomery missed Green Bay's Week 8 game due to illness, but in Weeks 7 and 9, he combined for 104 yards receiving, 16 carries and 113 yards rushing.

Montgomery seems to be thriving in his new role. If you have him on your roster, start him in Week 10.

The Packers travel to face the Tennessee Titans this week. The Titans are rated just 19th in run defense and 25th in pass coverage by Pro Football Focus. Montgomery carries the potential to have a big day on the ground and through the air. At minimum, he should be good for 100 combined rushing and receiving yards.

Montgomery obviously holds even more value in PPR formats.

As NFL Media's Michael Fabiano points out, though, running back James Starks is a guy worth scooping up as he makes his return from injury:

Sleeper: Kapri Bibbs, RB, Denver Broncos

While we don't have Denver Broncos running back Kapri Bibbs listed on our top 50, he does have the potential to be a fantasy producer in Week 10. There is some risk with the Colorado State product, as he is clearly a change-of-pace back behind rookie Devontae Booker.

However, as Bibbs showed this past week against the Oakland Raiders, he has big-play potential. Bibbs finished Week 9 with two carries for 11 yards and a reception for 69 yards and a touchdown.

Because of what Bibbs showed against Oakland, the Broncos should be inclined to give him more opportunities this week against the New Orleans Saints. The Saints defense is rated 20th against the run by Pro Football Focus.

At the very least, it's worth scooping up Bibbs and monitoring his use in the Denver backfield over the next week or two. If he can work himself into a substantial role, he could become a valuable commodity come fantasy playoff time.
