The New England Patriots’ own Josh McDaniels is one of the favorites to take over the lead role for the Giants in 2018. McDaniels has shown plenty of value during his time with the Patriots, helping them win Super Bowls and stay hated by the general public. His phone should be ringing off the hook this offseason with tons of teams looking for new head coaches. Just yesterday, Bookmaker had McDaniels as a +200 favorite, but overnight, the odds changed to +504, cutting his implied probability in half (33.33% to 16.56%.)

Next up on the list is the Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator. Jim Schwartz does have some experience as a head honcho, as he was the Detroit Lions’ head coach for a few years before coming to Philly. The Eagles have looked good this year even after losing Carson Wentz earlier in the season. The Giants would take just about anyone at this point and Schwartz is looking like a solid choice. Bookmaker listed Schwartz at+300 yesterday, before moving to +504 today.

Another favorite to head to the Big Apple in 2018 is Steve Wilks of the Carolina Panthers. Wilks helped the Panthers finish off the regular season with an 11-5 record as defensive coordinator. If Wilks gets the call from New York, we could see him try and revamp the Giants struggling defense next season. It looks like there has been some action on Wilks, as he’s moved from +900 to +807 in the early going.

What about the Field?

The field has also seen some significant movement since yesterday’s props were released. Bookmaker has moved the field from -150 to -249 since opening, suggesting that there is greater than a 70% chance someone not listed gets the gig.
