If you're in the fantasy football championship in your league, congratulations. If you're like me and lost by eight-tenths of a point in the playoffs to a person whose top-scoring player was a kicker, then I wish you nothing but better luck next year.

Here's a look at a few names on the start/sit borderline for Week 16, alongside some analysis and recommendations for each.

Start

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott vs. Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have given up an average of 36 points over their last two games. They don't have cornerback Richard Sherman or safety Kam Chancellor in the secondary, both are out for the season with injuries. Dating back to last year, Seattle is just 7-8-1 on the road (including the playoffs).

On the flip side, running back Ezekiel Elliott, who served a six-game suspension, is returning to the mix. Although the focus this week will be on Elliott and how he fares, this is a boost to quarterback Dak Prescott, who was dominant this year when the former Ohio State star was in the backfield.

Not counting a game in a monsoon in Washington, D.C., where Dallas was forced to go to the run much more often than usual, here are Prescott's weekly Yahoo scoring totals with Elliott: 17.12, 17.92, 22.92, 23.58, 30.74, 29.96. Those two clearly make a great team, one which Seattle is going to have a hard time stopping on Sunday.

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Yes, the matchup with shutdown cornerback Casey Hayward and the tough Los Angeles Chargers pass defense is a difficult one, but there are two factors to consider.

First, the Jets could easily find themselves playing from behind all game against star wideout Keenan Allen and the Chargers offense. Currently, the Bolts are 6.5-point favorites in this matchup, per OddsShark. If Los Angeles jumps ahead early, New York may have to pass more often to try to stay alive.

Second, Anderson sees a ton of volume when backup quarterback Bryce Petty is calling signals. Not counting a 41-3 dud against the New England Patriots at the end of last year, Anderson has seen 9.6 targets per game in contests Petty has played in dating back to last season.

Also, considering his skills as a deep threat, all Anderson needs his one play to accumulate double-digit points on the week. He's worth a flyer.

Sit

The Entire Jacksonville Jaguars Offense (Minus RB Leonard Fournette) at the San Francisco 49ers

First, it would not be wise to bench Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette under any circumstances because he's capable of touching the ball 30 times per game. That volume likely can't be replaced by anyone on your bench unless you somehow have an embarrassment of riches at running back.

Therefore, the focus here is on the rest of the team, and the outlook isn't so rosy. The San Francisco 49ers have looked strong in the three full games of the Jimmy Garoppolo era, winning all of them and allowing an average of just 17.7 points per contest.

The offense is showing an ability to eat the clock and sustain long drives under Garoppolo's leadership, and the defense has held its own during that span, led by linebacker Reuben Foster and lineman DeForest Buckner.

One may point to Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles' recent performances in the past three weeks (seven touchdowns, no interceptionsas a counterargument to why Jacksonville could have a productive offensive day. However, it's hard to bet against the hot 49ers right now, and the guess here is that this game is lower-scoring and competitive with no side featuring any fantasy stars.

The Entire Washington Redskins Offense vs. the Denver Broncos

Without running back Chris Thompson, who suffered a broken fibula against the New Orleans Saints and is out for the season, the 'Skins offense has not fared well, scoring an average of 16.8 points per game over their last four contests and never more than 20 in any single one.

Here's a statistic from Patrick Daugherty of Rotoworld that provides more light on the topic:

Although the Denver Broncos defense has been up and down this season, it has been strong in the last two weeks, shutting out the Jets and holding the Indianapolis Colts to just 13 points.

Also, the Vegas sportsbooks don't exactly think the 'Skins-Broncos game will be a shootout, as the current over/under total is just 40.5. For context, only three of the Week 16 games have lower marks.

Therefore, it may be wise to avoid placing any Washington players in your lineup.
