We’re In the Money!
If you simply bet on every favorite to win outright against their money line odds, then you had quite a haul this weekend. Favorites went 10-2 on Sunday (83.33%) with home favorites going 6-1 (85.71%) and road faves going 4-1 (80.00%).
Tennessee at Pittsburgh
When: Thursday, November 16 at 8:25 PM ET
Where: Heinz field
NFL Odds: Pittsburgh -7
The Steelers are home faves on Thursday night, but right now, 55 percent of the betting public likes Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans to cover the chalk as 7.5-point road dogs and I’m going to say that’s the right call. Not only has Tennessee gone 502 ATS in their last seven meetings against Pittsburgh, but something just doesn’t look quite right with the Steelers this season.
Week 11 Free Pick: Steelers
The Dogs are on the Leash
Home dogs went 2-3 SU and ATS on Sunday (40.00%) and that doesn’t bode well for Chicago as they get set to host Detroit on Sunday at 1:00 PM ET live from Soldier Field.
Detroit at Chicago
When: Sunday, November 19 at 1:00 PM ET
NFL Odds: Detroit -3
I’m sorry the Bears got screwed out of a touchdown by micro-managing replay officials against Green Bay on Sunday, but I think they’re definitely going down against Matthew Stafford and a seriously desperate Lions team in their Week 11 NFC North divisional battle. Detroit is 7-3 SU in their last 10 meetings against Chicago and 5-4-1 ATS over the span. While the Lions are just 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings, Chicago has gone a discouraging 6-18 SU in its last 24 home games.
Week 11 Free Pick: Lions
Buffalo at L.A. Chargers
When: Sunday, November 19 at 4:05 PM ET
Where: StubHub Center
NFL Odds: Chargers -4.5
I guess it’s a good thing for the Chargers that Buffalo is just 13-1 ATS in their last five games and have gotten smacked around in two straight including their totally humbling 47-10 blowout at the hands of New Orleans on Sunday. Los Angeles has lost two straight but they put up a great effort in falling to Jacksonville 20-17 at home on Sunday. The Bolts are also 4-1 ATS in their last five games.
Week 11 Free Pick: Chargers
Total Recall
The Over/Under was 7-4 in all non-overtime games on Sunday and 0/1 in the only game that wen to OT.
New England at Oakland
When: Sunday, November 19 at 4:25 PM ET
Where: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
NFL Odds: New England -6.5
The Oakland Raiders have won two of three, but I don’t have a whole lot of warm and fuzzy feelings about them when it comes to their Week 11 home date against Tom Brady and red-hot New England. The Pats have won five straight and seven of their last eight games and are now looking like a classic Bill Belichick team after starting off the season with some really poor defensive efforts. New England is 4-1 ATS in their last five games while Oakland is just 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven.
Week 11 Free Pick: Patriots
