With the 2017 NFL regular season really heating up and teams everywhere looking to either pack it in or pick it up depending on their current playoff status, now is the perfect time for some expert Week 12 NFL expert picks!

Carolina Panthers (7-3) at NY Jets (4-6)
When: Sunday, November 26 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
NFL Odds: Carolina -4.5
Total: 39.5

The Panthers have won three straight and are looking better with each passing week. While I’m a huge Todd Bowles fan and I’m impressed with the way he’s had his mostly overmatched Jets competing all season long, I just don’t see New York being able to get it done in this one.

The Jets have lost four of their last five and just don’t have enough talent on either side of the ball right now. Carolina is getting some eye-opening play from Cam Newton and their defense has held three of their last four opponents to 17 points or less. Go with the compelling 80 percent of public bettors that like the Panthers in this one.

Expert Pick Week 12: Carolina -4.5

Chicago Bears (3-7) at Philadelphia Eagles (9-1)
When: Sunday, November 26 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
NFL Odds: Philadelphia -13.5
Total: 44

The Chicago Bears have lost three straight and are likely playing their final handful of games under head coach John Fox while the Philadelphia Eagles may have the best young quarterback in all of football (sorry Deshaun Watson) in second-year signal-caller Carson Wentz.

Philly has scored 33 points or more in five of their last six games and Chicago hasn’t scored 30 points in a single game this season. The offensively-challenged bears and rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky simply won’t be able to keep up with the high-flying Eagles and their league-leading offense. Don’t worry about the big spread. I like the Birds to win by at least two touchdowns at home in this one.

Cleveland Browns (0-10) at Cincinnati Bengals (4-6)
When: Sunday, November 26 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati, OH
NFL Odds: Cincinnati -8

The Cincinnati Bengals have issues and that they might not even reach the playoffs this season, but I’m completely stunned that 62 percent of public bettors like the inept Cleveland Browns to cover the spread as 8-point road dogs, particularly after the Bengals came through for me by beating Denver on the road 20-17 this past weekend. Cincy averages over 11 points per game more than Cleveland when they’ve met in their last 10 head-to-head matchups, plus the Bengals are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings. That is good enough for them to win and cover the chalk at home in Week 12 – or maybe you didn’t see the pathetic display the Browns put on against Jacksonville on Sunday.
