Can Wentz and High Powered Eagles Cover Spread Against The Fumbling Bears in Week 12 NFC Clash?
With the Philadelphia Eagles clearly being light years ahead of the rebuilding Chicago Bears this season, there’s only one ‘real’ question that NFL betting enthusiasts need answered concerning the Week 12 matchup between the NFC residents:
Can Wentz and the Birds cover the Week 12 NFL betting spread as nearly two-touchdown favorites against the struggling Bears?

Why Bet The Bears?
Last week the lowly Giants beat the Chiefs, can the Bears follow suit? That is highly doubtful, but covering the nearly two-touchdown spread is do-able.
The Chicago Bears have a bright future, but they lost three straight although they did put up a good effort in their narrow 27-24 Week 11 loss against Detroit as a 3-point home underdog. Rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky completed 18 of 30 passes for 179 yards with one touchdown and no picks while running back Jordan Howard rushed 15 times for 125 yards and another score. Chicago recorded three sacks in the slim defeat and went 3-for-4 in the red zone.
Why Bet The Eagles?
Philadelphia laid an emphatic 37-9 beatdown on Dallas on Sunday night to easily cover the spread as a 6-point road favorite as Carson Wentz continued his march toward a possible MVP trophy this season. The gifted second-year signal caller tossed two TD passes in the win and Philly’s defense dominated by limiting Dak Prescott to an ‘ugly’ 145 passing yards with three interceptions and no touchdown passes. The Birds got 91 rushing yards out of newly signed former Dolphins back, Jay Ajayi and one rushing score from rookie Corey Clement and fifth-year back Kenjan Barner in the win.
Chicago Bears Vs Philadelphia Eagles ATS Pick
Despite the big, nearly two-touchdown spread in this contest, I say, don’t be worried, Philly will cover the chalk with room to spare. The Eagles have scored at least 33 points in five of their last six games and Chicago hasn’t reached the 30-points in a single game this season.
The offensively-challenged Bears and rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky simply won’t be able to put enough points on the board to keep up with Carson Wentz and Philadelphia’s league-leading offense (32.0 ppg). Chicago is 1-4 ATS in its last five road games while Philadelphia has gone 4-0 ATS in its last four home games. The Eagles soar in this one people!
ATS Pick: Philadelphia -13.5
