NFL Week 7 Parlay Picks

Three NFC-based playoff hopefuls all have a chance to both, pick up Week 7 victories while improving their odds of getting into the playoffs and making a run at an appearance in Super Bowl 52. Now, let’s get started.

2-Team Parlay Pick NFL Week 7

  • Carolina -3.5
  • New Orleans -5.5

Carolina Panthers (4-2) at Chicago Bears (2-4)
When: Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: Soldier Field, Chicago, Illinois
NFL Odds: Carolina -3.5
Total: 48.5

Analysis: Cam Newton and Carolina may have taken a tough 28-23 home loss on the chin from Philly on Thursday night, but the Panthers are by far, the better team in this Week 7 matchup which makes them a virtual lock to beat Chicago and cover the chalk as a 3.5-point road favorite in this matchup.

While I’ll admit that I like the insertion of prized rookie Mitchell Trubisky as their new starting quarterback, that also means they can expect some typical rookie quarterback struggles, particularly against a tough defensive team like Carolina. The Bears and Trubisky played a competitive contest in their 20-17 Week 6 home loss to Minnesota this past weekend, but Chicago is going down and going down hard against Carolina in this one.

The Panthers are a perfect 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games, 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following an ATS loss and 4-1 ATS in their last five road dates against the Bears and that will be enough to get past a Chicago team that has compiled a stellar 7-1 ATS mark in their last eight home games.

Pick: Carolina -3.5

New Orleans Saints (3-2) at Green Bay Packers (4-2)
When: Sunday, October 22, 2017at 1:00 PM ET
Where: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin
NFL Odds: New Orleans -5.5

Analysis: Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints have won three straight and are undoubtedly catching the Green Bay Packers at a perfect time, seeing as how Pro Bowl quarterback Aaron Rodgers is out of the lineup with a broken collarbone. The Saints put a whopping 52 points on the board on Sunday against Detroit and are my pick to get the road win and ATS cover against a Packers team that will have to find a new identity and new ways of winning without their superstar signal-caller. Not only is the favorite in this series 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings, but the Saints have an improved defense that features a pair of outstanding young cornerbacks in P.J. Williams and 2017 first round pick, Marshon Lattimore.

New Orleans is a perfect 6-0 ATS in their last 6 road games against a team with a winning home record, 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following an ATS win and a consistent 11-2 ATS in their last 13 road games. Green Bay has gone 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight-up loss and will almost certainly struggle in their first game with Aaron Rodgers under center. Back the Saints to win by a touchdown at the very least!

Pick: New Orleans -5.5

3-Team Parlay Pick NFL Week 7

  • Carolina -3.5
  • New Orleans -5.5
  • Dallas -6

Dallas Cowboys (2-3) at San Francisco 49ers (0-6)
When: Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 4:05 PM ET
Where: Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, California
NFL Odds: Dallas -6
Total: 47

Analysis: The Dallas Cowboys have lost two straight and just aren’t very good this season. Dallas has a pass defense that is akin to Swiss cheese, but they’re well-rested after getting a bye and have a huge edge at quarterback where second-year signal-caller Dak Prescott is far better than anyone on San Francisco’s roster. Throw in a nice measure of desperation and Dallas is the pick to cover the spread as near touchdown road favorites even though the Niners just gave Washington a hard way to go in their narrow 26-24 road loss on Sunday.

The Cowboys are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games against a team with a losing home record. The San Francisco 49ers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games, but the Niners are also just 2-7 ATS in their last nine home games. Dallas will be without star running back Ezekiel Elliott, but I’m expecting the Boys to get the win and ATS cover by letting Dak Prescott throw the ball around to future Hall of Fame tight end Jason Witten first and foremost as well as Dez Bryant and Cole Beasley.

Pick: Dallas -6
