Miami Visits Baltimore in Week 8 AFC Matchup With New Starting Quarterback Under Center
The Miami Dolphins will have a new starting quarterback under center when they hit the road to take on the Baltimore Ravens in a Week 8 matchup of AFC playoff hopefuls. Veteran backup signal-caller Matt Moore will replace an injured Jay Cutler when the Fins look to extend their winning ways at Baltimore’s expense while the Ravens try to snap their two-game skid on Thursday night.

The Dolphins have won three straight and come into this contest off a narrow 31-28 win over the New York Jets on Sunday as Matt Moore threw two TD passes in the final 12 minutes after replacing Jay Cutler who left the game with broken ribs early in the third quarter.
"That was fun, man," said Moore, who played for the first time this year. "It’s always fun to get a win, and then when you can contribute and have a comeback like that, it’s fun for everybody."
Miami beat Tennessee 16-10 in Week 6 and got past Atlanta 20-17 in Week 7 despite trailing 17-0 at halftime. The Dolphins have won six of their last eight road games. Miami is sitting at 4-2 despite allowing more points per game (18.7 ppg) than they average (15.3 ppg).

The Ravens are struggling mightily right now, having lost two straight and four of their last five games including a 24-16 road loss to Minnesota last weekend.
