Why Bet the Denver Broncos
The Broncos and quarterback Trevor Siemian looked mostly clueless in their 23-10 loss to the New York Giants last weekend. While Siemian threw for 376 yards and one touchdown he also tossed two costly interceptions including one pick-six and completed just 29 of 50 pass attempts. The Broncos were held scoreless in the first and third quarters and managed to find the end zone just once in the final quarter when the game was clearly over. Denver was held to just 46 rushing yards in the defeat and lost the turnover battle 3-0. Now, some are questioning Siemian’s job security.
"Absolutely Trevor is our quarterback right now," Broncos coach Vance Joseph said, answering the first question in Wednesday’s media briefing. "We are 3-2 and as a team, we are getting better. As a team, nothing has been perfect, including myself."

The Chargers have played three consecutive solid games while winning each of their last two including their hard-fought 17-16 win over Oakland last weekend while covering the spread as a 3-point road dog as kicker Nick Novak nailed a 32-yard field goal as time expired.
Veteran quarterback Philip Rivers completed 25 of 36 passes for 268 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions while running back Melvin Gordon rushed for 83 yards and one touchdown on 25 carries. The Bolts harassed Oakland quarterback Derek Carr into two interceptions and limited the Raiders to just six second-half points in the win. Now, they want to stay focused heading into their huge Week 7 showdown after losing to the Broncos 24-21 in their regular season opener.
"We’re just trying to keep a narrow focus and just trying to take care of the job we have in front of us and that’s the Denver Broncos," Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said.

The Broncos had the look of a legitimate Super Bowl contender after beating the Bolts and stomping Dallas in their first two games, but right now, they’re looking really lost offensively and they’ve lost a little bit of their swagger defensively. Trevor Siemian is no longer looking like the second coming of John Elway while Philip Rivers and the Los Angeles Chargers have gotten their act together the last three weeks in a big way.
