Why Bet The Pittsburgh Steelers To Beat The Ravens

WR Antonio Brown is the key to the Steelers offense with RB Le’Veon Bell struggling to get started this season after holding out. He’s averaging 3.5 yards per carry. QB Ben Roethlisberger has 31 touchdowns passes and 21 interceptions in 19 career games against Baltimore, going 10-9 over that stretch.

“If I play better in that game, I feel we win the game,” Roethlisberger said Wednesday. “If I play better in the first two weeks, then we’re going to score more points and have a productive offense and we don’t have to answer questions about why our offense isn’t where it is.”

Brown leads the NFL with 354 receiving yards but has only caught one touchdown. He caught ten passes for 110 yards and one TD last week against Chicago. Brown will face a Baltimore defense which allowed 227.0 passing yards per game. They ranked 19th defending the pass.

Pittsburgh is ranked third in the league in total defense and second against the pass.

Why Bet The Baltimore Ravens To Beat The Steelers

Even after losing shifty rusher Danny Woodhead, the Ravens offense is one of the best running the football. They average 142.3 rushing yards (4th) because they’re shifting away from QB Joe Flacco throwing the football.

A trio of rushers, Javorius Allen (43 car, 152 yards, 0 TDs), Terrance West (33 car, 128 yards, 2 TDs) and Alex Collins (16 car, 124 yards, 0 TDs), are powering this offense with QB Joe Flacco struggling.

The Baltimore QB missed all of training camp and the preseason after suffering a back injury and only began practicing shortly before the season began. Flacco played the worst game of his career last week. He completed eight of 18 pass attempts for a career-worst 28 yards with two interceptions against the Jaguars. Flacco finished with a passer rating of 12.0.

Pittsburgh allows 122.7 rushing yards per game. They are 22nd against the run after three weeks.
