Georgia is 4-0 this season while averaging 31.0 points per game powered by 223.3 rushing yards per game. It’s all about the running game for the Bulldogs.
And it’s all about RB Nick Chubb who will be an NFL starter next season. Chubb averages 6.3 rushing yards per carry and has recorded 371 rushing yards this season. He has also scored six touchdowns in 2017 and that’s two shy away from his eight total from a year ago through four games.
This week, Chubb faces a Volunteers defense that allows 242.3 rushing yards per game. This could get ugly.
Georgia doesn’t just rely on Chubb to win games. The Bulldogs defense enters Saturday ranked fourth in total defense in the SEC (269.5 yards per game) and third in scoring defense (11.5).

Tennessee can match Bulldog rusher Nick Chubb yard per yard. Vols junior rusher John Kelly has been tremendous after four games. He has run for 450 yards and six touchdowns on 81 carries. He leads the SEC with an average of 112.5 rushing yards per game.
"Definitely what I was expecting," Kelly said. "I came out earlier in the season and I said that I was going to be the best running back. That’s all I wanted to prove week by week. I’ve been saying that since camp started. I just wanted to go out and prove it every time. I’m glad with the numbers, but I mean at the same time, we’ve got to get some more W’s."
Last week against UMass Kelly ran for 101 rushing yards on 25 carries, scoring once.
