After 3 weeks in the 2017-2018 College Football Season, it’s apparent that the very best teams aren’t necessarily the ones that we thought would be the best going into the season.
Here's where things stand after Week 3 ⤵️
You'll want the full list, because after No. 13, the rankings get weird. https://t.co/aqm0sCOBcO http://pic.twitter.com/64MG7MWnC8

My three College Football Week 4 picks have something in common. They are all ranked in the Top 10, but they didn’t start there. To quote Drake "Started from the bottom now we’re here. Started from the bottom now my whole team f*cking here." All of my college week 4 betting picks climbed into the Top 10.
The first game I like has Oklahoma State battling TCU. Can the Cowboys keep the good time going with a home win and cover against TCU? How is Penn State going to fare as a road favorite against tough Big Ten rival Iowa? Which team gets it done when Washington battles Colorado in Colorado?
Expert Picks College Football Week 4
#16 TCU at #6 Oklahoma State
When: Saturday, Sep. 23 at 3:30 pm ET
Where: Boone Pickens Stadium, Stillwater, OK
TV: ESPN
Odds: Oklahoma State -12
Analysis: Wow, Oklahoma State’s good! As a -10.5 favorite on the road against Pittsburgh, Oklahoma State jumped out to a huge lead. The Cowboys never looked back. How badly did Oklahoma State beat Pittsburgh in Week 3? 59 to 21.
It could have been worse. The Cowboys pulled QB Mason Rudolph after he threw for 497 yards and 5 TDs. Rudolph should make some NFL fan base super happy come next April.
Oklahoma State figures to be too much for TCU. I don’t see the Horned Frogs keeping this one close. The Cowboys’ defense is much better this season than it was last season.
OKST blows out another gridiron foe as my top college football Week 4 expert pick.
Expert Pick Week 4: Oklahoma State -12
#4 Penn State at Iowa
When: Saturday, Sep. 23 at 7:30 pm ET
Where: Kinnick Stadium, Iowa City, IA
TV: ABC
Odds: Penn State -13
Analysis: Sure, Penn State hasn’t faced a team as tough as Iowa yet this season. The Nittany Lions get better each week, though. The 56 to 0 win over Georgia State won’t turn a lot of heads. Then again, top in the nation RB Saquon Barkley touched the football only 14 times.
That’s how good of an offense Penn State’s got. The defense isn’t too shabby, either. I like the Lions to roll over the Hawkeyes in this match up. Iowa couldn’t cover a 3.5 spread against Iowa State. The Hawkeyes failed to cover a -19.5 spread against North Texas.
Penn State dominated Iowa 41 to 14 last season. The Nittany Lions are better this season than they were last season. PSU should have no trouble beating Iowa by close to 3 touchdowns.
Expert Pick Week 4: Penn State -13
#7 Washington at Colorado
When: Saturday, Sept. 23 at 10:00 pm ET
Where: Folsom Field, Boulder, CO
TV: TBD
Odds: Washington -10
Analysis: After USC barely beat Texas at home in Week 3, it’s obvious to me that the best team in the Pac 12 is Washington. The Huskies aren’t a covering machine. In fact, Washington is 1 and 2 ATS this season.
But, Washington has faced the following spreads: -28 versus Rutgers, -39 versus Montana, and -34.5 versus Fresno State. The Huskies are going to love only having to deal with a 10-point spread in this game.
Washington thumped Colorado 41 to 10 last season. A similar score this season sounds about right.
Expert Pick Week 4: Washington -10
