Week 12 was a strange one in the fantasy football season, as six teams, many of which feature this year's top fantasy players, faced each other on Thanksgiving Day. Thus, fantasy owners had to hit the waiver wire early in Week 12 and set their lineups early in the day on Thursday.

However, it's back to business as usual in Week 13, which features several juicy matchups and, most importantly, plenty of intriguing players to take a look at adding to your team.

Note that the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns are on bye in Week 13.

The following players are owned in fewer than 60 percent of Yahoo leagues and are worth considering for your lineup in Week 13.

Waiver-Wire Targets

Tim Hightower, RB, New Orleans Saints

Saints rusher Tim Hightower appeared on our waiver-wire target list for Week 12. At that time, he was owned in 51 percent of fantasy leagues.

Fast-forward to after the Saints handily defeated the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday and Hightower is still only owned in just 57 percent of leagues.

However, he lit up the Rams defense, with 15 carries totaling 51 yards and two receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown.

In fact, the touchdown came off a trick play when Drew Brees passed the ball to Willie Snead, who found Hightower for the 50-yard score when the Saints' win was already insurmountable.

It may not have been very sportsmanlike, but the Saints proved on Sunday that their running backs can still see action even when they have a sizable lead.

So what are you waiting for?

Anquan Boldin, WR, Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions moved further ahead in the NFC North with their Thanksgiving Day win over the Minnesota Vikings, and at 7-4 they're now a full game ahead of the Vikings in the division.

The Lions can attribute much of their success this year to Matthew Stafford and their passing offense, which is averaging 248.7 passing yards per game.

And that offense has been boosted by the offseason acquisition of Anquan Boldin, a veteran wideout the 49ers didn't seem to want who, nevertheless, has been producing at a high level this year.

On Thursday, Boldin connected with Stafford seven times for 69 yards and a touchdown.

In his 14th NFL season, Boldin so far has amassed 48 receptions for 392 yards and six touchdowns on the year.

Those six scores are already his most in a season since he had seven in 2013, and he still has five weeks left to play.

Lance Kendricks, TE, L.A. Rams

It wasn't an overly successful outing overall for the Rams, who lost 49-21 to the Saints in Week 12, even though they started out strong.

Still, it was a good week for rookie quarterback Jared Goff and his passing weapons, especially because the Rams had to take to the air more often as they fell further behind.

That meant more production for the pass-catchers, and tight end Lance Kendricks saw his share of the action.

Kendricks finished his day with four receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown, scoring 15.10 total points, which ranked in the top five among tight ends who played through Sunday afternoon.

It was Goff's third touchdown pass of the first half, so if you had questions about whether Goff and his weapons could be part of a high-octane passing offense, indications are pointing to yes.

The Rams will likely struggle to match New England and Tom Brady blow-for-blow in Week 13, which means a shootout could be in order. Consider that if Kendricks is available in your league.
