Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott and Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate sum up the fantasy football landscape right now.

Both speak to the importance of matchup analysis. Elliott was a surefire stud to exploit in Week 10 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, an analysis that rings true after he posted 38 points to lead all scorers before Monday.

Brate was a must-have sleeper in a matchup against the exploitable Chicago Bears. He cruised to 14 points ahead of names such as Rob Gronkowski, Antonio Gates, Jason Witten and more.

Let's get an early start on finding similar players for Week 11 by comparing notable matchups and zooming in on stars and sleepers.

Quarterback

Matchup to Know: Ben Roethlisberger, PIT (at CLE)

After weeks of iffy play, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger got back to the elite fantasy production owners expect with a 28-point outburst against the Dallas Cowboys.

Now, Big Ben turns toward a game against the Cleveland Browns.

After 408 passing yards and three scores, this almost looks like the quarterback matchup of the year. Cleveland entered Week 10 allowing the third-most points to opposing quarterbacks and has now allowed five opposing passers to hit 20 or more points.

Big Ben will be the sixth on his way to posting one of the year's top lines. Then he will get to do it again in Week 17.

Sleeper to Exploit: Blake Bortles, JAC (at DET)

Most people don't take Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles—who is owned in 68 percent of leagues—seriously, so he gets a pass as a sleeper.

Bortles has 21 or more points in each of his past two outings, meaning he's a solid streaming option based on matchup even if he grabs his stats when a game is already out of reach.

Week 11 sees Bortles get the Detroit Lions defense, a unit that manages to rank worse than the Browns against quarterbacks. Five sets of opposing quarterbacks have scored at least 20 points against the unit, and six have tossed two or more scores.

Bortles, regardless of when he gets the production, will get it.

Running Back

Matchup to Know: DeMarco Murray, TEN (at IND)

It's hard not to love Tennessee Titans running back DeMarco Murray in most matchups. A great comeback story, Murray has 18 or more points in three of his last four outings and three 20-plus performances.

One of those came last week, and it wouldn't be a big surprise to see him put together back-to-back outbursts thanks to a game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts were on a bye in Week 10, but that didn't stop the team from sitting 10th in terms of points allowed to backs on average. Murray has already done damage to the unit once, as he scored 18 against it in Week 7.

Indianapolis has allowed six opposing backfields to drum up 100 or more yards. Given Murray's status as a workhorse and one of the league's best, he looks able to do so on his own.

Sleeper to Exploit: James Starks, GB (at WAS)

James Starks is back in command of the backfield for the Green Bay Packers after recovering from an injury.

Owned in 29.3 percent of leagues, Starks makes for a great pickup because he doesn't leave the field on passing downs. He found his way to 10 points in Week 10 through 33 rushing yards and 11 yards and a score through the air.

Given Green Bay's struggles, he might see even more usage in Week 11 against the Washington Redskins. Through the first eight weeks of the season, Washington allowed five opposing backfields to hit on 20 or more points while coughing up 10 rushing scores.

Given Starks' versatility and usage, he'll exploit the matchup to an owner's gain.

Wide Receiver

Matchup to Know: Dez Bryant, DAL (vs. BAL)

Starting Dallas wideout Dez Bryant might seem like a no-brainer, but consider that sandwiched between 17-point outbursts is a one-point showing against Cleveland.

One would think Bryant should have torched the miserable Browns in Week 9, but his one catch speaks to the fact that his production isn't guaranteed with rookie quarterback Dak Prescott under center.

Alas, owners can't afford to shy away from Bryant in Week 11. He lines up against the Baltimore Ravens, a defense that entered Week 10 allowing the third-most points to opposing receivers via 14 touchdowns.

It seems there is potential for Bryant to have zero impact whatsoever these days, but owners have to roll with the matchup.

Sleeper to Exploit: Michael Thomas, NO (at CAR)

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas is owned in only 80 percent of leagues because he's erratic.

Thomas has a cool 84 points on the year, but he's had four single-digit outings alongside his five trips to double digits.

One of those strong outings came against the Carolina Panthers in Week 6. He caught five passes for 78 yards and a score there, good for 13 points and the realization he'll get the struggling secondary again.

The rematch happens in Week 11. Carolina hasn't changed, having coughed up outings of 52, 42 and 38 points this year to sets of opposing wideouts. Thomas posted his strong production against the unit, while fellow wideout Brandin Cooks also found the end zone, so don't hesitate—there are plenty of chances to go around in this matchup.

Tight End

Matchup to Know: Delanie Walker, TEN (at IND)

Delanie Walker of the Titans has five scores on the year, one of which came against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 7.

Walker now gets those Colts again in Week 11 and looks at a chance to make it three games in a row with a score.

He was especially impressive in Week 10, torching the Packers with nine catches for 124 yards and one touchdown, good for 18 points.

Now, against a defense he already knows how to bully, Walker should contend for top scorer of the week at the position.

Sleeper to Exploit: C.J. Fiedorowicz, HOU (at OAK)

It's time for owners to roll out the Houston Texans' C.J. Fiedorowicz again.

Fiedorowicz is one of the best sleeper plays at tight end when he's in a great matchup. Think back to Week 8, when he exploited a weak Lions unit with five catches for 43 yards and a score, good for 10 points.

This time, the victim is the Oakland Raiders, a team that has allowed five touchdowns to the position, highlighted by 20 or more points to a pair of opposing tight ends.

Houston knows this matchup advantage as well as anyone, so expect Fiedorowicz to be a major part of the game plan.
