When setting your fantasy football lineups this late in the NFL season, take your time with the decisions. I know you’re excited about must-win games, but I’m baffled when I get lineup questions early in the week, especially when the decisions include injured players.
For instance, San Diego Chargers wide receiver Tyrell Williams has a labrum issue in his shoulder and “his status is worth monitoring” this week, according to Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune. Williams has been the top wide receiver for the Chargers this season and a big fantasy contributor. A decision on his status can’t be made until we see how he does in practice.
Arguably the top-two tight ends in fantasy football, Rob Gronkowski (back) and Jordan Reed (shoulder), both had to leave Week 12 with injuries and aren’t locks to play this week. Of course, because they're both so talented, you’ll want to wait as long as possible to see if they have a chance to play on Sunday.
Inserting someone like Aaron Rodgers into your quarterback spot might be easy, but make sure to gather up as much information as possible when constructing the rest of your lineup.
Here’s my first look at the points-per-reception (PPR) rankings for Week 13. These will change throughout the week and up to Sunday’s action as we get more information about injuries and limitations, so make sure to bookmark this page.
