The NFL never ceases to surprise us. And by us, I mean fantasy football owners trying to navigate through the homestretch of the fantasy regular season.
The Seattle Seahawks knew they were getting Thomas Rawls back this week, and C.J. Prosise just had a solid performance against the New England Patriots in Week 10. Apparently, that was more than enough ammo to lead their backfield moving forward, because they decided to waive Christine Michael, their leading rusher over the first 10 weeks, per Jeremy Bergman of NFL.com.
If you're looking for a more positive surprise, how about Marcus Mariota? Over the last four weeks, he trails only Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees in fantasy points scored by quarterbacks. For the season, he's the No. 4 quarterback. Who would have thought that a Week 13 bye for the Titans would be such a killer to more than just DeMarco Murray and Delanie Walker?
Hopefully, that ends the surprises that already made this a crazy week, although with the majority of teams returning to practice Wednesday, an unexpected player or four could end up on the injury report.
Here's the first look at my points-per-reception (PPR) rankings for Week 11. These will change throughout the week and up to Sunday's action as we get more information about injuries and limitations, so make sure to bookmark this page.
