Week 3 of the NFL season was another confusing outing for fantasy owners, and things don't get any easier heading into Week 4.

With players like Jamaal Charles and Le'Veon Bell reportedly ready to make their season debuts next weekend, you might find yourself between a rock and a hard place if your matchup has either of these players ready to go.

It's that time of week again to scan the waiver wire and find the best value out there in free agency. Below, you'll find the best targets to go after for Week 4 and which players you should drop and forget that you even drafted.

Note: For those of you wondering why Carson Wentz is on the "long-term option" list and not the "Week 4 waiver-wire target" list, the Eagles have a bye week next weekend and therefore don't count toward this week.

Top Waiver-Wire Targets

Terrelle Pryor, WR, Cleveland Browns

There was some preseason hype surrounding Terrelle Pryor in August, but then again, it was just preseason action. We refused to take notice of Pryor's ability to stretch the field and maneuver around in an offensive system.

Oh, how wrong we all were.

Pryor had a great Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins, recording 144 receiving yards and a rushing touchdown. He also lined up as a quarterback, running back and even at safety. He had 14 targets on Sunday, even with rookie quarterback Cody Kessler throwing him the ball.

With 23.90 fantasy points in Week 3, Pryor could be the biggest sleeper heading into the quarter mark of the 2016 season. He could be in store for another big showing next weekend against the Washington Redskins, but only if the Browns continue to utilize him as an offensive weapon.

Orleans Darkwa, RB, New York Giants

I liked what I saw out of Orleans Darkwa in limited action last season, and I, along with NFL Network's Michael Fabiano, have a good feeling about him heading into Week 4.

Of course, it's a shame to see an exciting player like Shane Vereen go down with an injury, but there's always a bittersweet feeling in fantasy football when a player is sidelined for a few weeks, as twisted as that may sound.

Darkwa, who scored a touchdown and rushed for 52 yards against the Redskins on 10 carries while replacing Vereen, will be in line for more carries next weekend even if there is a committee approach in place. If Darkwa impresses, you might just win your matchup next weekend.

Long-Term Options

Carson Wentz, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

Carson Wentz? Let's call him Arson Wentz.

Wentz has been on fire to start his career with the Eagles and has joined some elite company in the process. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Wentz has thrown 102 passes in his first three career games without throwing an interception, trailing Hall of Famer Warren Moon's mark of 103 passes.

While it's ridiculous to compare Wentz to Moon at this point of his career, it didn't stop Eagles head coach Doug Pederson from comparing his rookie signal-caller to another Hall of Fame quarterback, Peyton Manning

Jack Doyle, TE, Indianapolis Colts

Goodbye Dwayne Allen, hello Jack Doyle.

Doyle is the No. 1 tight end in Indianapolis. Just let that sink in for a moment. The casual NFL fan might wonder, "Who?" Well, Doyle is Andrew Luck's go-to option in the red zone.

Doyle put up 65 yards on six grabs in Week 3, and while those aren't the most attractive figures, Doyle has leapfrogged Allen as the Colt's best receiving tight end. Playing the Jacksonville Jaguars next week, don't be shocked to see Doyle haul in a couple of big touchdown grabs.

After all, O'Doyle rules!
